- HOW DO I APPLY IT? Get in the shower. After shampooing, squeeze hair to remove excess water. Start applying from the ends to the mid-shaft. Use a wide-tooth comb through hair. This will help apply some of the masque on the roots. After 5 minutes (or longer if you want ) rinse with cool water.
- CAN I WEAR THE MASQUE OVERNIGHT? Absolutely! First, make sure hair does not have any product on it. Use a spray bottle to make your hair slightly damp. Apply from ends to mid-shaft. Use a wide tooth comb to distribute through hair. Let dry for about 5 minutes. Place hair in a bun, use a sleeping bonnet if you like. Rinse in the morning. Shampoo scalp. Conditioner is optional.

- can i use this product with conditioner before applying or should i skip conditioner?
- Hi Alexa! You may skip conditioner and put our Thick Hair Treatment Masque after shampoo. We recommend you to use it weekly or bi-weekly. After cleansing, remove excess water from hair. Apply a quarter-size amount starting from the ends and working to the roots. Comb product through with fingers or wide tooth comb. Chill out for 5 minutes, then rinse with cool water. Hope this helps!
- Is this safe to use with a keratin or straightening treatment in your hair? Meaning it won’t take out my keratin or smoothing treatment.
- Hi Zoe! All of our products, including our Treatment Masques, are safe for keratin-treated hair. All OUAI products are free of sulfates, parabens and phthalates. As always, it's best to consult with your stylist before starting any new products after a Keratin treatment!
