Fragrance

A body mist is a lightweight fragrance spray for all-over use: skin, hair, clothes, whatever. It’s less concentrated than a perfume, which makes it lighter, fresher, and something you can reapply without it becoming overwhelming.

Concentration and longevity, mainly. Perfume has a much higher fragrance load for stronger projection, longer wear. A body mist is lighter and more casual: a few hours of wear, easy to refresh, and pleasant to apply over and over. 

A few hours on its own; longer when you layer it. Applying OUAI Hair & Body Mist over the matching Body Crème or after the matching Deodorant extends how long the scent lingers, as moisturized skin holds fragrance differently than bare skin. Spritzing on hair (rather than just skin) also extends it, as your hair diffuses scent gently throughout the day in a way skin alone doesn't.

Apply on pulse points (wrists, neck, behind the ears, inside of the elbows and knees) and through hair. Hold the bottle about 6-8 inches away and spritz lightly. Don't rub it in.

Depends on the day and the occasion. For everyday life, absolutely, a body mist is lighter and more refreshable, which is often exactly what you want. For evenings out or when you want fragrance that sticks without reapplication, perfume could be the better pick. A lot of people use both: body mist for the day, a spritz of EDP for a stronger scent in the evening.
