Leave in Conditioners

It’s a conditioner you apply to damp or dry hair and don't rinse out. It stays in all day, continuously adding moisture, fighting frizz, and protecting strands from heat or environmental damage. Unlike a rinse-out conditioner (which you wash off), leave-in conditioner keeps working after you leave the bathroom. 

Easier detangling (much less breakage when combing), frizz control, added moisture that lasts through the day, heat protection up to 450°F, and a general improvement in how manageable and smooth your hair feels. OUAI Leave In Conditioner also reduces hair breakage by 52% when used with heat tools.

Pretty much everyone. If you use heat tools, it protects. If you have frizz, it helps. If you air dry, it gives you a better base for any styling product on top. Fine, thick, curly, straight, color-treated… it works across all of them. Thicker, coarser, and curlier hair can also apply it on dry hair between washes for an instant hydration and shine boost.

After washing, squeeze excess water from hair. Spray OUAI Leave In Conditioner about 6-8 inches from the eyeline down (avoiding the roots, because the scalp produces its own oil and you don't need to add to it). Comb through with a wide-tooth comb to distribute evenly. Don’t rinse it out.

Yes, if that's what your hair wants. Fine hair might prefer every wash day rather than daily to avoid weighing down roots. Thicker, curlier, and coilier hair often benefits from daily use. Our formula is lightweight enough that daily use doesn't cause buildup the way heavier leave-ins sometimes do.

Rinse-out closes the cuticle and smooths the strand after shampooing (you wash it off before you leave the shower). Leave-in stays in your hair all day, continuing to add moisture, fight frizz, and protect against damage. Using both is how you get the best of both: the cuticle-smoothing from the rinse-out, and the ongoing protection from the leave-in. 

OUAI Leave In Conditioner won't, as it's a lightweight spray specifically designed so even fine hair can use it without going flat. The key is application: spray from mid-lengths to ends, not directly on the roots. Start with a small amount and build if you need to. 

It's made to be the base layer. Leave In Conditioner goes on first on damp hair, then Wave Spray, Curl Crème, or Anti-Frizz Crème on top. Hair Oil comes last on dry hair as a sealing and shine step.
