How to use

Start with clean wet hair
Apply Thickening Spray as the last step in your styling routine. 
Hold the bottle 6–8 inches away and spray evenly from roots to ends. 
Avoid over saturating your hair with the spray to prevent a sticky or heavy feel.
Focus on the roots for maximum lift and volume.
Comb through using a wide-tooth comb to distribute the product evenly throughout your hair.
Heat style for maximum thickness.
Tip: Blow-dry your hair using a round brush or by lifting the roots with your fingers. 
Once dry, style your hair as usual. For a shiney finish try OUAI’s HAIR OIL.

I am loving this for my fine, thin hair

"I am always on the hunt for a product which will give my fine, thin, white, almost 70 year old hair some body and the illusion of some density. I have been using a foam mousse from another company for years, but even it was not producing any longer. I decided to try this product about a month ago and so far, I absolutely love it! A few sprays on my damp hair, some blow drying and some styling, and I look as if I have way more hair! There is a learning curve, however. Do NOT get over zealous spraying. A little goes a long way. Too much and things get a little gummy. I also like that I can put some of this in a 1 oz travel spray bottle. Fits in that stupid little bag that is required for TSA and I can still have my favorite products with me vs. trying to 'make do'. Thank you for a great product."

"The actual product is wonderful. It gives my hair more body and “thickness”. My issue is with the pump. I’ve only used about 25% of the bottle and the spray pump has already malfunctioned. Now I have to pour it out in my hand and try to work it into my hair. For the price of this product, I expect better."

Q&A

Do you use this product instead of the leave in conditioner since it is also a heat protectant. Also does it work well to hold curled or flat ironed styles?

The Thickening Spray does offer heat protection up to 450°F, but it's not a replacement for the Leave In Conditioner since it doesn't provide the same detangling, hydration, or frizz-fighting benefits. For best results, we recommend using both! Apply the Leave In Conditioner first, then follow with the Thickening Spray before heat styling. :)
Do I need to blow dry/heat to activate this? Can it natural dry and work? ( i have curly hair and would prefer no heat)
