"I love this shampoo. I’ve tried many (too many) shampoos for “fine” hair. This is the only one that actually makes my hair feel thicker. I’m a customer for life! Also, I love the scent. The next day after washing I can still smell the Mercer St scent. I wish Mercer St was in more of your products. I hesitate to use, the conditioner, and the styling products because their smell will over write the Mercer St. But the shampoo for fine hair is truly wonderful!"

"Pleeeaaseee bring back Mercer Street perfume. I need to sentmax this fragrance lol! Oh the shampoo? It and the conditioner are good mid range products. They’re not bad but it doesn’t blow my socks off. I find myself reaching for them tho, and I’ve finished their travel sized products (which is my rule if I am to purchase full size). I have fine wavy hair and it cleanses my hair really well and the conditioner doesn’t weigh it down. Are there drugstore shampoos that do the same? Sure. My shower experience is also important to me though, and this scent is heavenly. After 12hrs post shower and even sleeping on it, I can still smell the scent, and in this case, I love that. My hair feels soft and airy, thank you Ouai :)"

- How to open bottle that does not have pump fine hair shampoo.
- Hi Linda, Our standard-size Fine Hair Shampoo does not come with a pump. To open, look for the small indentation on the cap and press down on that area — the lid will pop open for easy use. ✨ I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any further questions :).
- If it sulfate free why is sulfate listed as an ingrident and sodium? Is it actually color safe?
- Hi Maya, That's a great question-- All OUAI products are produced without the use of parabens, phthalates, and sulfates. The ingredient you are referring to Sodium C14-15 Olefin Sulfonate, is not a sulfate. Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate" (also known as Sodium C14-16 Alpha Olefin Sulfonate or AOS) is not the same as a sulfate; it's an olefin sulfonate, a different class of anionic surfactant with similar cleansing properties but a slightly different chemical structure. All of our products are SLS and SLES free. Which means OUAI uses alternative ingredients to help cleanse and nourish. Hope this helps!

- Hi Kamille, Our Fine Hair Shampoo has the Mercer Street scent. It is is an outspoken fragrance that a-OUAI-kens the senses with notes of Italian lemon, Turkish rose, jasmine sambac, iris, lily, and white musk.
- Is this product vegan?

Our Shampoos and Conditioners (including Fine Hair Shampoo) contain hydrolyzed keratin which comes from sheep's wool--no worries, no sheep was harmed during the process (they are basically being groomed)! OUAI Haircare products are produced without the use of parabens, phthalates and sulfates.
- How often can I use a fine shampoo?
- You can use our FINE HAIR Shampoo as often as often as you'd like! Some customers prefer it as their daily/regular shampoo. However, our Daily Care Shampoo's are tailored to be used as often as your hair needs!
