The same beachy texture you know & love, but with a OUAI better feel. This salt-free Wave Spray enhances your hair’s natural texture, adds body & volume BUT—and this is the important part—still keeps your strands feeling soft & hydrated. Get that “just got out of the ocean” look, minus the ocean.

HOW TO USE

Straight Hair - Wet to Dry- Heatless/Heat 
Shake WAVE SPRAY.
Spray on clean, wet hair from 6–8 inches away, roots to ends.
Scrunch, squeeze, or twist to create texture.
Air dry for soft, tousled texture and bend. 
Pro Tip: For defined texture, twist or braid damp hair, secure ends, and let air dry.
Diffuse for added volume and bend.
Pro Tip: Blow-dry in sections with a round brush for a textured, voluminous finish.

Straight Hair -  Dry Style, Heat
Start with dry, tangle-free hair. Apply heat protection. 
Section hair based on desired wave size. Smaller sections = tighter waves. Larger sections = loose waves. Use a curling iron, waver, or flat iron, alternating sections for a natural beachy look. 
Shake WAVE SPRAY and apply from roots to ends. Scrunch to enhance texture.
Pro Tip: Finger rake curls with WAVE SPRAY on your hands for a softer, more lived-in finish.

Wavy Hair  - Wet to Dry - Heatless/Heat
Start with clean, wet hair. Apply 1–2 pumps of AIR DRY FOAM. Scrunch or twist in.
Shake WAVE SPRAY and spray evenly (6–8 inches away).
Scrunch until waves form. Add more WAVE SPRAY if needed.
Tip: Twist or braid while wet, secure ends, and air dry for defined waves.
Use a diffuser for extra texture, volume, and bend.

Wavy Hair - Dry Style -Heat 
Detangle hair and apply heat protection. 
Use a curling or flat iron, alternating section sizes for a natural look.
Shake WAVE SPRAY, spray 6 to 8 inches away, scrunch and squeeze in. 

Curly Hair - Wet to Dry - Heatless/Heat
Follow your curl routine. Try CURL CRÉME. 
Shake WAVE SPRAY and spray 6–8 inches away from your hair. 
Scrunch curls into shape.
Use a diffuser, flipping hair upside down for more volume.
ProTip - Spray WAVE SPRAY just at the roots for added texture and fullness.

"This is the second review I leave in a week. My first review is titled "Not really a wave spray". And it's true, when I applied the wave spray all over my fine, dense, wavy hair it was too much. But then, I started using it more deliberately for focused texturizing and refreshing the ends, and it works like a charm. I 'll keep buying."

Not really a wave spray

"It's more of a texturizing spray in a liquid form. I used to use the old version and came back to it because I missed the salt-free wave enhancement. The new version is nothing like that. I use it after the ouai air dry foam, and it makes my clean hair tacky, coated, and heavy. For reference, I have fine, dense, wavy hair in a bob. Giving it 2 star because it worked relatively well for a couple of weeks and then it just made my hair heavy, so it might work better for thicker hair types."

Is it safe for color-treated hair?

All products, including our Daily Care shampoo and conditioners, are sulfate-free (and paraben and phthalate-free), so they’re safe to use on colored treated hair. Our shampoo and conditioner also have reparative keratin, which will help prevent breakage and frizz.  Please let me know if you have any additional questions!
