There’s only 40 more days left until the election. In 2016, 92 million eligible voters did not vote, and 15% of registered voters did not vote. Let’s make sure 2020 is different by encouraging all the people in our lives to register TODAY.

If you’re confused by the whole election process, you’re not alone! Our founder, Jen Atkin, is basically a walking encyclopedia of voting knowledge. In the video above, Jen shares what the difference is between mail-in voting and absentee voting, important voting dates, and ballot information, plus why swing states are so important. Consider this your one-stop-shop for all things voting and the election cycle.

More OUAIs to get involved:

Adopt a state: You don’t even need to leave your couch—No matter where you live, you can directly support the work of organizers, volunteers and candidates in the six key battleground states that will be most important to delivering a progressive majority in 2020. Visit votesaveamerica.com/adopt for more info.

Become a poll worker: Half of the poll workers in 2016 were over the age of 60—the same group that are most at risk for COVID-19. Since many people will still need to vote in person on Election Day, if you are healthy and able you can volunteer to be a poll worker. Visit votesaveamerica.com/everylastvote for more info.⠀
