Quarantine's keeping us all away from our beloved hairstylists and colorists. For girls with bangs, that means grown-out fringe that requires extra attention. Hence LA-based hairstylist @cynthiadhimdishair's tutorial on blow-drying and styling her medium-length bangs for a side-swept effect. Grab your Texturizing Hair Spray and Super Dry Shampoo and follow along for fluffy, voluminous fringe that takes less than five minutes to achieve.

  1. Using a smoothing brush and the T3 Cura Hair Dryer, blow dry bangs down to smooth any cowlicks, especially focusing on the roots
  2. Using a round brush, blow out the bangs, twisting the brush’s handle as you go and making sure to get the bang’s ends (this creates volumes)
  3. Divide the bangs into a straight center part
  4. Blow dry one side of the bangs toward your nose to create a swooping effect
  5. Clip a Basic B Beauty No Bend Clip to that side of the bang to shape it and allow it to cool
  6. Repeat steps 4-5 on the other side of the bangs
  7. Spray OUAI Texturizing Hair Spray on the bangs for grit and hold
  8. Remove the clips
  9. Finish with a spritz of OUAI Super Dry Shampoo on the crown for extra volume
