When things settle at Paris Couture Week, we're always left wanting more though the insatiable Francophile in us always finds a quick Parisian fix. In this case, a throwback to the 1961 French film, Une Femme Est Une Femme (French for A Woman Is A Woman). Once wife to the film's director, Jean-Luc Godard, and leading actress, Anna Karina makes a case for the wispy French girl fringe we're major fans of. Ahead, we decode Karina's bouffant-and-bangs hairstyle from the movie for those of you who also j'adore her timeless look.

  1. Prep damp hair with OUAI Volume Spray (if your hair is flat and/or thin) or OUAI Air Dry Foam (if your hair is wavy/curly)
  2. On dry hair, apply OUAI Dry Texture Foam throughout for gritty texture
  3. Spray with OUAI Soft Hair Spray to set the look
  4. Rub a dab of OUAI Matte Pomade between palms of hands to emulsify then use fingers to apply it through ends of bangs for a piecey finish
