Fact: Glass hair is a no-go when frizz puts up a fight. Whether you're going for beachy waves, a cute bun, or shiny straight strands, frizz has no place on a mane that lusts for luster. For girls who are the frizzy hair type and even those who want a surefire way to fix a few flyaways here and there, we have the solution. Ahead celebrity hairstylists behind the manes of Kim Kardashian and Chrissy Teigen share the under-the-radar frizzy hair hacks they swear by to shun frizz and boost shine.
A Wax Stick is Your Secret Weapon
One uncommonly known tip for fighting frizz is the Tigi Bed Head Hair Stick. Many people may assume the sticks are too sticky or outdated, but a little goes a long way, and this is one of my best-kept secrets. The two best tool to use in conjunction with the stick is a curling iron. Warm the wax on the iron then lightly run the iron over your hair to smooth frizz.
The next best accessory are your fingers and the palms of your hands. Lightly rub the Bed Head Stick into your palms/fingers and rub gently over and through your flyalways. Of course, top it off with some hair spray and you're frizz-free.

Sleep on Silk
My ultimate tip for fighting frizz is switching to a silk pillowcase. Silk doesn’t pull moisture from your hair and skin the way cotton does, meaning your hair stays hydrated and silky until you wake up (which also means less time spent styling and no more bedhead!). I love The Hollywood Silk Solution silk pillowcases because they are silk on one side, and cotton on the other so they won’t slip around the bed.

Prep with Strong Hold Products
The best tip is to prep damp hair with a good amount of hold product, such as a gel, strong hold mousse, or thickening spray as this eliminates the need for texturizing products and hair sprays which can sometimes leave the hair more dry or frizzy. My favorites are Bumble and bumble Thickening Full Form Mousse, Paul Mitchell Super Clean Sculpting Gel, and Oribe Maximista Thickening Spray. Once prepped, when you hit the hair with a curling iron, it already has Hold product in the hair and will maintain the style longer and without frizz.
Also, when styling any type of curl, make sure the curl has time to cool before disturbing it so that the style doesn’t become unmanageable. As far as brushes or combs, I definitely believe a wide-tooth comb is better to brush out hair that tends to frizz up more. I also really enjoy spraying a Mason Pearson or any smoothing brush with hairspray such as Aveda Control Force Firm Hold Hair Spray or Oribe Superfine Strong Hair Spray, and then brushing out my style. The hair spray helps control and minimize the amount of frizz. LESS IS MORE. If your hair tends to frizz easily, I’d stay away from texture sprays and super-sticky products.
