"Some of my favourite brands I work closely with are based in Australia and I’ve always wanted to visit! I got to do some vacationing while getting some work done. I thought it was a win-win situation! A fun fact I learned while there is that Australia has a very depleted ozone layer…the sun is super harsh and I learnt that the hard way. If there’s one thing you shouldn’t leave here without, it’s swimsuits. I brought back so much swimwear. Does that count as a souvenir!? They have the best bathers!"

Booking the Trip
I booked with Air Canada, as they offer non-stop return to Sydney from Vancouver. For accommodation, I recommend finding Airbnbs or boutique hotels near the ocean! (Flight Hopper App, Airbnb.com, etc). If you can, stay at Hotel Ravesis, it boasts amazing interior design and it sits right in the heart of Bondi Beach. Or the Novotel Sydney Manly Pacific.
Coffee at Hotel Ravesis
Train and bus. They have a great transit system! Make sure you always top up your Opal card ;) Sydney is a lot bigger than you’d think. Be prepared to spend time on the train or in a car when getting around the city!
Bare Naked Bowls
10AM Breakfast at Bare Naked Bowls (the ‘ocean bowl’ is the go-to)
11AM Spend the morning relaxing on Manly Beach
12:30PM Lunch at The Boathouse (but choose from their brunch menu)
4PM Explore the Manly village (aka shopping. One of my favourites is a store called ‘This & That Boutique’)
7PM Dinner at Criniti’s! Order the meter-long pizza, of course. And for dessert, order the Nutella donut bomb. You’re welcome ;)
10PM Manly Wharf bar (right on the water!)
This and That Boutique in Manly
10AM Breakfast at Preach Cafe (Sydney has the BEST coffee, btw)
11AM Relax on Bondi Beach and shop the boutiques along the Bondi boardwalk!
12:30PM Lunch at Fishbowl (the best make-your-own poke bowls ever!)
View from the Iceberg Rooftop Terrace
2PM Swim in the Iceberg Pools ($6 entrance fee, but totally worth it!)
4PM Drinks on the Iceberg Rooftop Terrace (an outdoor terrace overlooking the iceberg pools and the ocean)
7PM Dinner and drinks at Coogee Pavilion! A 15-minute drive from Bondi Beach, this three-story bar/restaurant has the best vibes and the most amazing decor! (There is also a trail along the water from Bondi through Bronte into Coogee that you can walk!)
